Shielded Pathway

A very scary but with happy ending childhood memory prompted this painting. When I was seven years old I fell from third floor all the way to the lobby of our apartment building. A straight edged heavy bucket (that my head got stuck in) shielded me from a possible tragedy. Beyond (the only time ever in my life) a spank on my butt from my terrified mom all ended fine, leaving an extra dimple on my right cheek.
